The Election Commission (EC) yesterday (3) instructed eligible voters who have not received polling cards thus far to cast their vote at tomorrow’s (5) General Election based on the 2019 voters’ list, as they were eligible to do so.

But they must have the National Identity Card (NIC) or any other identity recommended by the EC.

NIC, driving licence, passport,  senior citizens identity card,  religious prelates identity card, temporary identity card issued by the EC and  temporary certificates with photographs issued by the Department of Registration of Persons could be produced before the officer to whom voters have to prove their identity at the polling booth, the EC added.
