Rs 39mn theft in Miriswatte, Gampaha

A private financial institution in the Miriswatte area in Gampaha was attacked last afternoon (15) by two persons who are said to have been armed.
The suspects had robbed Rs. 39 million worth of jewelry and Rs. 950,000 in cash said the Gampaha Police.
The Gampaha Police are conducting further investigations to arrest the two suspects.
