Two Sri Lanka Customs officials test positive for COVID-19
Two officials of Sri Lanka Customs have tested positive for COVID-19, Additional Director General of Customs Sunil Jayaratne said.
Steps are being taken to send their associates to quarantine.
He also said that even though Sri Lanka Customs is not closed, only essential services will be provided from tomorrow (23).
Only food, drugs, medical equipment, raw material for factories, cement and fertilizer will be released from tomorrow onwards, he said, requesting the public to refrain from visiting Sri Lanka Customs to obtain textiles, vehicle parts and non-essential goods.
