Two foreign Nationals among COVID-19 casualties
The Government Information Department says that two foreign Nationals were among COVID-19 related deaths that occured yesterday (24).
Accordingly, one foreigner is a 46-year-old male, identified as a resident of Colombo 02, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Colombo.
The other has been identified as a 63-year-old male from Colombo 4, who died of multi organ failure associated with chronic kidney disease.
Eight COVID-19 related deaths were recorded yesterday (24), raising the death toll to 642.
Meanwhile, 880 positive cases were reported from Sri Lanka yesterday, and the total number of cases exceeded 100,000.
