Sri Lanka-born actress Thusitha Jayasundera will cast in an Amazon Original series based on "The Lord of the Rings".
Jayasundera is well-known for The Foreigner (2017), Doctor Foster: A Woman Scorned (2015), and The Bill (1984). According to several media reports, the new crew will go to New Zealand for filming and expected to release the premiere on Prime Video in 2021.
