Three students in Badulla test positive for COVID-19

Health officials in Badulla stated that PCR tests conducted on the 17th have confirmed that three school children in the Passara area have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
The PCR tests had been conducted prior to the students' departure for the National Cadet Corps Training Camp in Rantambe. Accordingly, all students who are to go undergo cadet training will be sent for PCR tests.
It was added that there is no potential threat to other schools in the area, as these students had not come into direct contact with other students in the recent past.
