Indictments issued to Rajitha, two others
Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne and two others have been released on bail after being served indictments by the Colombo High Court today (18) in connection to a case filed by the Bribery Commission.
The allegation states that the Government incurred a loss through the agreement struck to lease the Modera fishing harbor in 2014.
The case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Pradeep Hettiarachchi today (18).
The suspects were released on three sureties of Rs. 1,000,000 each.
Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne, former Chairman of the Fisheries Harbor Corporation Upali Liyanage and its Managing Director Nil Ravindra Munasinghe were indicted and granted bail by the High Court today.
