Sri Lankan Buddhist temple to be constructed in China
A Buddhist shrine related to the traditional features of Sri Lanka will be constructed at the White Horse Temple in China.
The proposal intends to strengthen long term diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and China. All costs of the construction will be borne by the White Horse Temple and constructions will take place under the supervision of Ministry of Buddha Sasana.
The proposal was submitted by PM Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Minister of Buddha Sasana Religious and Cultural Affairs signing a MoU between the White Horse Temple and the Ministry of Buddha Sasana Religious and Cultural Affairs.
