SL restricts travel from 6 S. African nations
Sri Lanka has announced travel restrictions on six Southern African countries that are threatened by the new Covid-19 variant Omicron.
The limits in travel will start tomorrow (28) from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho and Eswatini, according to a Health Ministry statement.
Arrivals from these countries on 26 and 27 November will have to undergo mandatory 14-days of quarantine.
Also, arrivals will be banned in Sri Lanka if they have been to these six countries in the past 14 days.
