SJB’s aim to uplift poor – Sajith

Every problem faced by the poor is a national problem and not one which is localised or confined to one area, where such problems emanate, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said on Saturday (16).

Speaking to villagers at Okkampitiya, Buttala, he further said the SJB, as a true Opposition Party, tries to find solutions to the problems facing the masses.

“Ours is an Opposition which is a blessing to the poor,” said Premadasa. The objective of the SJB is to uplift the lot of the indigent, he added. The occasion was when ‘The Opposition Leader’s Mobile Service’ visited the area.
