Sports Sachithra gives statement to SPU

Cricketer Sachithra Senanayake gave a statement to the Special Police Unit for the Prevention of Sports Offenses for more than 8-hours yesterday in connection with the attempted match fixing allegation during the Lanka Premier League cricket tournament.

Sachithra had earlier filed a bail application in Court, which the Colombo Additional Magistrate had rejected.
