Revised health guidelines: Children's parks, zoos, betting centres to reopen
A revised set of health guidelines was issued by the Director General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunawardena today (16), further easing several restrictions.
Accordingly, zoological gardens will reopen with a maximum of 25% of visitors, whilst indoor musical shows will be permitted with only 50% of the total seating capacity present.
Furthermore, wildlife parks, children’s parks, camping sites, and betting centres will also be reopened as per the new guidelines.
In relation to the resumption of sporting activities, Dr. Gunawardena stated that tournaments and group activities that do not involve physical contact will be allowed. He added, however, that no spectators will be allowed.
