Local Railway Dept introduces new hotline

A new hotline has been introduced by the Sri Lanka Railways, in an attempt to make the service more accessible to its commuters.

Passengers are now able to dial 1971 in order to lodge a complaint in case of an emergency and to obtain information related to train services.

This hotline will be used for all complaints and information related to the Department of Railways henceforth, as per an official statement issued by the Department.
