Public servants in Hambantota to receive training in Tamil language

A Tamil language training program for public officers working in the Hambantota District Secretariat was launched at the Magam Ruhunupura Administrative Complex recently.
The program was initiated by District Secretary W. H. Karunaratne and organized by the National Languages and Social Integration Division of the District Secretariat.
The 150 hour Tamil language training program for public officers operates under Public Administration Circular 18/2020. The course is to be conducted twice a week and is scheduled to conclude by April 2021.
