Ministry 'Public day' shifted to Monday
The Cabinet of Ministers have decided upon Monday as the 'Public Day' at all Government institutions.
The decision was taken after concerns were raised that it would be more convenient to the public if the 'Public Day' were shifted to Monday.
Wednesday was previously declared as the Public Day – the day on which citizens could meet with officials at State bodies to directly make requests and air their grievances.
Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers decided that Monday will be declared as 'Public Day', and that all the officials of Public institutions to be compulsorily available in their offices for performing the requirements of the Public during that day.
