Medicine delivery program enters second phase
The program to deliver essential medicine to patients who obtain treatment from public medical clinics has entered its second phase.
The Director General of Health Services has stated that in addition to Colombo and Gampaha Districts, steps will be taken to provide medicine to patients receiving treatment at hospitals in the Kalutara and Kurunegala districts from tomorrow (27).
Medicine will be mailed to the address listed in the book provided for the clinic, via registered post.
The Ministry also informed patients to inform the relevant clinics and update any information which has been subject to change.
