Prime Minister presents cheques to two super winners

Prime Minister cum Minister of Finance Mahinda Rajapaksa, on 7.1.2021, presented cheques to two lucky winners of the Development Lotteries Board’s super prizes in the Kotipathi Kapruka and Jayoda lotteries.
Kumara Pathirannehelage Sunil from Ambanpola, who won the super jackpot of Rs 87,991,625 in the 652nd Kotipathi Kapruka draw, received the cheque from the Prime Minister. The winning ticket was sold by Dinesh Kumara, the Sales Agent of Ambanpola.
G. B. G. Kodithuwakku from Galgamuwa, who won the super jackpot of Rs 57,138,276 in the 1717th Jayoda lottery draw, also received his cheque from Prime Minister Rajapaksa. The winning ticket was sold by T.M.S.B. Menike, the Sales Agent of Galgamuwa.
Officers of Development Lotteries Board, including Amitha Gamage, the Chairman, participated in the event.
