PM makes monetary donations inline with Thaipongal

100 selected Hindu temples situated in rural areas received monetary donations worth Rs 10,000 from Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees yesterday (12).
The donations were made in line with the Thaipongal celebrations set for tomorrow.
Earlier donations worth Rs 50,000 were made to 40 selected kovils in line with Nawarathri celebrations.
