Prasanna, Vichintaya, Dilvan, Kavisha register comfortable wins

Prasanna Athauda, Vichintaya Nilaweera, Dilvan Herath and Kavisha Ratnayake registered wins over Nadun Senadeera (6/0 6/1), Ramith Herath (6/0 6/3), Heshika Perera (7/5 6/1) and Manesh Kajan (6/4 1/6 10/6) in the men’s singles category on day 2 of the ongoing tennis Nationals 2020 at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association hard court. 

Meanwhile, in the women’s singles category,Neyara Weerawansa got the better of Dewmini Warnasuriya by 6/16/0 to register a comfortable win. 

It was an action-packed day two where many top ranked players in the island were back in action after almost one year due to the pandemic. 

The most significant tennis tournament of the calendar, the Sri Lanka Tennis Nationals 2020 commenced on 9 January and will continue till 24 January with the participation of top ranked players in the island.
