PB deploys LANKAQR Payment acceptance solution at Osusala

People’s Bank joined hands with State Pharmaceuticals Corporation of Sri Lanka (SPC) to deploy People’s Bank LANKAQR Payment acceptance Solution, the pioneering initiative of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) that aims to revolutionise the payments landscape in Sri Lanka. Accordingly, LANKAQR payment facility will be deployed in 43 Osusala outlets island wide in the near future.  LANKAQR is a common Quick Response (QR) code standard introduced and mandated to enable fast, secure and low cost digital payments island wide. 

Managing Director of SPC Lalith Jayakody, People’s Bank Senior Deputy General Manager - Payments, Digital, Process Management and Quality Assurance, K.B. Rajapakse and Head of Marketing Nalaka Wijayawardana participated in an event to sign and exchange the agreement for the partnership.
