Palms never lie
By Bandu Abeysundara
I had the rare opportunity of reading the horoscope of a senior citizen who had been on a wheelchair all his life, selling lotteries as his meek livelihood, whereas the highly privileged segment of the society sped past in their luxury vehicles – on most occasions violating the traffic rules.
Private bus drivers plying on narrow roads and state owned bus drivers running between long distances have been proved to be reckless and major traffic rule violators; and hence have undoubtedly been found to be accountable for similar chaotic situations most of the time while the affluent class of the society has been well equipped with the tactics and ways of escaping from similar offences, if their vehicles ever happened to overrun an underprivileged person.
A wave of shiver runs through my spine every morning on weekdays, when I see scooters and motorbikes carrying school children, hurrying to drop their children at schools. On some occasions, even ladies ride scooters with little children who may be below grade five, since late comers are punished by being made to clean the school premises under strict rules of the respective principals.
Coming back to the topic, let us have a look at what astrology and palmistry have got to say about the people who are handicapped with disability due to negligence and recklessness of drivers all over the country.
The person under discussion today has been selling lotteries on a wheelchair from the time. I knew that he was having a very malefic horoscope together with very unfortunate line configurations on both palms.
In his birth chart, it is shown that his birth sign is Leo and the Lord of the 9th House of fortune and merits of his previous births is placed in the 12th House of negation of luck, while Dragon’s Head and Tail too are placed in the 12th House and 6th House respectively, while the Moon too placed in the 12th House with the remaining seven planets being hemmed between the said two shadowy planets on the left hand side of the Dragon’s Tail and Head, thus forming a highly malefic ‘Kala Sarpa Yoga’ for the subject. The Moon too is being placed in the malefic and unbeneficial 12th House, it has almost formed a ‘Chandra Kalasarpa Yoga’ which could be easily found, if the ‘Bhava Kendra’ too is made for reconfirmation of the foregoing.
The only benefic planetary setting that was the Sun and Mercury combination was to be seen in the 5th House directly overlooking the 11th House of income and gains, thus enabling him to engage himself in self -employment for a livelihood.
To my utter surprise, when his two palms were scrutinized for further comprehension and re-verification, it divulged that he possessed palms dark in colour, while all the main lines and micro lines appeared to be in a messy configuration with crossbars and black dots under the Mount of Saturn. He was having the well known malefic Ring of Saturn under the Mount of Saturn, which is at the base of the middle finger. Yet, to his mere luck for sustenance by selling lotteries, he was in possession of the Line of Self-employment which ran upwards from the rascette (line on the wrist) to the Mount of Sun, which is indicative of one’s career, fame and success. This Line of the Sun was somewhat straight in comparison to other lines, some of which were deeply grooved and messy, while the remainder was cut by many cross lines which ran from the base of the third phalange of the thumb. The aforesaid Line of Sun is equivalent to the most beneficial planetary configuration or combination of the Sun and Mercury which endows a person with the divine gift of pursuing higher studies up to degree levels or having his or her own businesses and this is through my own experience and findings in reading palms and horoscopes for the last 39 years in Sri Lanka and abroad.
