Nawalapitiya reopens after 3 day semi-shutdown

The Nawalapitiya town, which came to a standstill on 15 January subsequent to detecting 21 COVID-19 positive cases was reopened this morning (18).
The town was temporarily shut down for the purpose of disinfecting all public areas, as it had been identified that the infected individuals had visited several areas in the town.
It was further stated that those entering Nawalapitiya town are to abide by the COVID-19 regulations.
