Another day of heavy showers for the North

Several showers are expected to occur in the Northern, North-central, Eastern, and Uva provinces as well as in the Matale and Hambantota districts according to the Department of Meteorology.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 1.00 p.m. and fairly heavy falls above 75 mm can be expected at some places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.
