MA and PhD in Korean Studies: Korean Embassy announces schols
The Korean Embassy in Colombo, yesterday (21), announced scholarships for graduates who want to complete their Masters in Arts (MA) and Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Korean Studies, at the Graduate School of Korean Studies, for admissions for Spring 2021.
Applications close on 9 November.
Benefits include full tuition fees waiver, a monthly stipend for selected graduates and students, and Korean language courses and cultural experience programmes, offered free of charge. Coursework period is two years for a Master’s Degree programme and three years for a Doctoral Degree programme.
To qualify for a Master’s Degree programme, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) conferred by a Korean or any other university. To qualify for a PhD programme, applicants must hold a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) at the start of the desired semester.
