Sri Lankan Rupee hits lowest value recorded in history

The Sri Lankan Rupee hit a record low as it depreciated against the U.S. Dollar today (31).
The current selling rate of the U.S. Dollar stands at Rs. 204.04, whilst the buying rate stands at Rs. 197.62 according to the latest exchange rates issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
This value is the lowest that the Sri Lankan Rupee has recorded within the history of Sri Lanka.
