Less than 10% doses brought down – JVP

JVP politburo member, former MP Wasantha Samarasinghe, charged that though 27 million vaccine doses are required to inoculate the entire population of Sri Lanka against the COVID-19 Pandemic, less than 10 per cent of that number had been brought to the country so far. He alleged though the Cabinet had boasted that the entire country would be inoculated within a span of two months last February, such grandiose talk had failed to bear fruit, as the vaccination drive had crumbled.
