Police identify 126 institutions that failed to follow health guidelines

Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that steps have been taken to file cases against 126 state and private institutions in the Western Province for not following the health guidelines and quarantine regulations properly.
He points out that 1,004 public and private institutions in the Western Province were inspected yesterday (18).
DIG Ajith Rohana added that 848 institutions have complied with the health recommendations while 126 institutions have been identified that do not follow health guidelines. The DIG stated that legal action would be taken against these institutions.
