Lankan Tamil appointed Anguilla Governor

Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam, a Britisher of Sri Lankan Tamil origin, has been appointed Governor of Anguilla in succession to Tim Foy (OBE), the UK Foreign Office said on Saturday (28).
Selvaratnam will take up her appointment in January 2021. Anguilla is a British Colony in the West Indies. Selvaratnam is a lawyer by profession.
