News Korean grant of $4M to bolster Govt Analyst Dept

An agreement was signed between the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Government Analyst Department and the Ministry of Justice yesterday (8) to strengthen forensic drug analysis capabilities of the Government Analyst Department. 

This project will be implemented with a grant aid of USD 4 million provided by the Government of the Republic of Korea and includes enhancing laboratory equipment in narcotic drug and forensic toxicology lab, provision of training on narcotic drugs and forensic toxicology and development of a laboratory information management system for the Department. M.U.M. Ali Sabry, Minister of Justice, M.M.P.K. Mayadunne, Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Kang Young Hwa, Country Director, KOICA and. Gowri Ramanah, Government Analyst were participated in the occasion. (ER)
