The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has granted four million US dollars to produce and implement a traffic data analysis and management system for Sri Lanka.

The funding to the Road Development Authority through the Ministry of Highways will go to produce and implement a national traffic data analysis and management system by 2025.

It will be based on Korea’s advanced road traffic system and road traffic data management expertise.

KOICA will dispatch a number of Korean transportation experts who will be working with the RDA on various components of this project.
