Nominations of 14 Judges presented by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to the Parliamentary Council regarding the appointment of Appeal Court Justices is scheduled to be discussed at 4 p.m. in Parliament today (23).
The 14 nominations include, Judges Menaka Wijesundara, D.N. Samarakoon, M. Prasantha de Silva, M.T.M Lafeer, C. Pradeep Keethisinghe, Sampath B. Abeykoon, M.S.K.B. Wijerathna, R.Gurusinghe, G.A.D. Ganepola, K.K.A.V. Swarnadhipathi, M. Corea, Prabhaharan Kumararatnam, W.M.N.P. Iddawela and Sampath Mendis.
