Japan has temporarily banned the entry of business travelers from 11 Asian countries, including Sri Lanka, as a measure to curtail the spread of Covid-19.
Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga announced that it would be effective for foreigners who are not residents of Japan and that this ban will be effective until 07 February.
Accordingly, Japan has suspended foreign arrivals from Vietnam, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, and Malaysia.
