Isolation lifted in some areas

Army Commander, General Shavendra Silva said that it has been decided to remove the isolation status imposed on 11 Grama Niladhari Divisions while designating five GN divisions in Minuwangoda and Matale Police Divisions as isolated areas.
Two GN Divisions of the Minuwangoda Police Division, East Galoluwa and West Galoluwa, have been declared isolated areas.
Warakamura, Meedeniya GN divisions and the Maththawa village in the Dehipitiya GN division in Matale have also been declared as isolated areas since 17 January.
The Isolation status declared on several GN divisions in the Kalutara Police Division was lifted. The GN divisions, where isolation status has been lifted are, a part of the 725 Kalutara South, 725A Kalutara South, 725B Velapura, 727 Mahawatta, 727B Kuda Heenatiyangala , 727C Kurunduwattha, 727 E Akkaragoda, 730 Wettumakada South, 730A Kalapuwa, and 730B Katukurunda.
In addition, the 743A Akaramale GN division of the Beruwala Police Division is also not an isolated area anymore.
