The National Center for the Prevention of the spread of Covid-19 says that four members of a rugby team at a popular school in Galle who went on a pilgrimage to Sri Pada have contracted Covid-19.
The group has visited a Nuwara Eliya as well, where they were staying at a circuit bungalow.
The Galle District Regional Epidemiology Unit has stated that the students were identified two days ago when PCR tests were conducted on a selected number of persons.
