Four Staffers at Hulftsdorp Courts test positive

Following random PCR tests conducted on 100 people serving at the Hulftsdorp Court Complex on 18 January and based on reports of 70 last morning, four had tested positive to COVID-19.
Sources said the reports of the remaining 30 were due today. Sources said of the four who had contracted the virus two were serving at the Special Security Unit Complex while the other two were attached to the Court of Appeal staff.
They said to date no Supreme Court (SC) staffer had tested positive to the disease and Registrar of the SC ex-Magistrate Pradeep Mahamuthugala said measures has been taken to prevent the emergence of a SC COVID cluster.
