4-Nation football tourney for Prime Minister’s Cup begins today
The Four Nations International Football Tournament for the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa Trophy will get underway in Colombo from today (08).
The tournament, organized by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka, will stretch till 19 November while adhering to health guidelines.
Bangladesh, Seychelles, the Maldives and hosts Sri Lanka will be battling it out for the trophy at the Race Course grounds.
President of the Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will attend today’s opening ceremony.
Stadiums will be allowed to accommodate 50% of its capacity and tickets will be issued at the entrance.
Spectators are required to show their vaccination cards in order to purchase tickets.
