Any company, institution or persons engaged in bringing down tourists once the country is reopened for tourism, who are not prepared to strictly adhere to strict health guidelines, will be blacklisted.
Minister of Tourism, Prasanna Ranatunga, said this measure has been put in place to prevent noncompliance of health guidelines as it would deal a crippling blow to the tourism industry and the well-being of the people.
He added, once the country is reopened those involved in bringing down tourists to the country will have to register with Sri Lanka Tourism.
