The first team of 22 workers returning to South Korea for employment left Sri Lanka early yesterday (21) on a special Charter flight.
The Sri Lankan workers who had undergone PCR testing 48 hours beforehand, will also undergo a 14 day quarantine period in South Korea.
According to the measures taken by the Republic of Korea to prevent the spreading of COVID-19, foreign workers must submit a valid PCR test report when entering Korea from 01 January 2021. The PCR test report should be taken within 72 hours before leaving for Korea, and foreign employees without a PCR test report are deported by the Korean government.
