The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) stated water supply will have to be restricted as water sources in many areas have dried up due to the prevailing dry weather.
It announced that the 24-hour uninterrupted water supply would be limited and that there would be less pressure on the water supply to consumers in the highland areas.
The NWSDB, in a press release, also urged consumers to use water sparingly in the face of the dry weather.
