Entry of domestic workers to Kuwait allowed from 17 Jan
The Kuwaiti Government has allowed the entry of domestic workers from countries such as the Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh from 17 January 2021.
This is according to a decision taken by the Supreme Committee to restart commercial flights from Kuwait International airport recently.
Kuwaiti citizens can apply through domestic labor companies to obtain visas for domestic workers. New or returning domestic workers need to be registered in order to travel to Kuwait by the sponsor and book airline tickets, institutional quarantine and make necessary payments.
The first flight from Sri Lanka to Kuwait is expected to fly on 28 January.
