Jennifer Orr (43), a physiotherapist from Murrieta, CA, will attempt to break the World Ultra Cycling Association (WUCA) 24-hour SOLO Female World Record of 439.65 miles. The current record, held by Nancy Raposo, was set almost three decades ago on 22 September 1992. Since her first 24-hour time trial in November 2017 she has developed into an elite ultra-racer.

Once her record-breaking attempt is completed, Jen will be a brand ambassador for Ride for Ceylon (R4C) and help to raise funds for their charity projects. She will also wear the R4C jersey on some of her future rides.

Jen hopes to participate in the ‘Race the Pearl’ 24 hour ride across Sri Lanka (approx. 600km) representing R4C, and the Ride4 Ceylon charity cycle ride which will take place from 3-6 March 2021 from Colombo to Jaffna, for which the theme is ‘Hope Beyond Cancer’.
