CSE closes in the green
The Colombo Stock Exchange made gains today (09), with the benchmark ASPI increasing by 1.02 per cent to 5,370.39 points and the more sensitive S&P SL 20 Index increasing by 1.18 per cent to 2,334.76 points.
The day’s turnover stood at Rs 3.13 billion turnover on a share volume of 102.21 million.
The shares of 115 companies increased in value, while 48 companies saw their share values decrease.
Foreigners sold just over Rs 1.3 billion worth of shares, while foreign sales amounted to just over Rs 48 million – a Net Foreign Outflow (NFO) of Rs 1.29 billion.
This brought the running record of NFOs to 26 continuous market days, with NFOs for the year to date amounting to Rs 34.57 billion.
