CPC signs MoU with HIPG
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the Ministry of Energy by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and the Hambantota International Port Group, with the participation of Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila. This is to facilitate the construction of the CPC tank farm’s oil pipeline system in Hambantota through the Hambantota Port area, as well as the operation of the tank complex within the Port.
The MoU was signed by CPC Chairman Sumith Wijesinghe and Johnson Liu, CEO of Hambantota International Ports Company. D. R. Olga, Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Chaminda Hettiarachchi, Managing Director of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Buddhika Madihewa, and others were present on the occasion. (TR)
