COVID-19: Total no of cases rises to 2,047

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said that the total number of COVID-19 patients reported in Sri Lanka has risen to 2,047 after the identification of five more cases.
The five new cases have been identified as returnees from Oman.
The Epidemiology Unit further stated that 325 COVID-19 patients are currently receiving medical treatment, while 1,711 patients who were infected with the virus have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
