COVID-19: Nine deaths reported; death toll rises to 83

Sri Lanka recorded nine more COVID-19 related deaths yesterday (21), increasing the death toll to 83, the Director General of Health Services confirmed.
Among the deceased were, a 57-year-old resident of Colombo 2, 65-year-old resident of Wellampitiya, 89-year-old resident of Dematagoda, 48-year-old resident of Colombo 10, 72-year-old resident of Colombo 10, 69-year-old resident of Colombo 13, 76-year-old resident of Wellawatte, 75-year-old resident of Wellampitiya, and a 76-year-old woman.
The Department of Government Information said that 491 COVID-19 cases were reported yesterday.
