COVID-19 death toll in SL crosses 460

With five more COVID-19 deaths being reported the death toll in Sri Lanka increased to 464.
According to the Department of Government Information, the deceased includes a 69-year-old male in Nawadagala, a 72-year-old female in Narahenpita, a 70-year-old male in Kandy a 71-year-old make in Colombo 09 and a 71-year-old male in Veyangoda.
Meanwhile, another 497 new COVID cases reported in the country, raising the total count to 82,430.
A total of 664 individuals have been discharged upon full recovery by yesterday (26), bringing the country's total recoveries count up to 77,625.
The number of individuals currently treated in hospitals and treatment facilities across the island is 4,341 while 409 are placed under medical observation.
