COVID-19: 7 expats, 2 inmates recovered
A total of nine positive COVID-19 cases left hospitals after recovery today (11), the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) reported.
Out of them, seven of them are expatriates and two are inmates from Kandakadu Rehabilitation Centre.
Meanwhile, the total number of detainees for quarantining at Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre for Drug Addicts stands at 649. Of them, 528 individuals are detainees under rehabilitation, 67 staff members, 5 guest staffers, 48 family members and close associates, including one person who got in contact with the infected one in the Welikada Prison.
Further, 636 persons, associated with the Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre for Drug Addicts at Kandakadu have left so far after recovery and a total of 13 infected persons connected to the Rehabilitation Centre are still under treatment.
