Court to take up Bathiudeen brothers’ FR petitions
The Supreme Court today (12) decided to take up the fundamental rights petitions filed by the Bathiudeen brothers, Rishad and Riyaj, seeking an order to release them from the custody of the CID.
A three-judge-bench fixed the petitions to be taken up for further support on 15 October.
The petitioners are in police detention in connection with the Easter Sunday terror attacks.
They have named the IGP, the CID, the attorney general and several others as respondents.
