Construction of new Ministry of Justice complex begins
The construction of the new Ministry of Justice commenced today (25).
The event was headed by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa near the Hulftsdorp Supreme Court complex.
Rs. 16,500 million has been allocated to the construction project. The building complex will be constructed on an area of six acres. The plan is to complete the construction in four phases over the next three years.
Minister of Justice Ali Sabry, Attorney General Dappula de Livera, Ministers and Parliamentarians were also present at the occasion.
