Cabinet approves multiple MoU'S with Pakistan

With Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan due to arrive in Sri Lanka today (23), multiple Memorandums of Understanding were proposed by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to the Cabinet earlier this morning.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, in his capacity as the Minister of Technology, proposed that a Statement of Intent to co-operate on education and research work between the COMSATS Univerity in Pakistan and the Institute of Technical Technology (ITT) be signed.
Furthermore, President Rajapaksa also proposed that an MoU be signed on academics and research be signed between the International center for Chemistry and Bio-Science of the University of Karachchi in Pakistan, and ITT.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, proposed to enter into an MoU on the cooperation between the Board of Investments of Sri Lanka and Pakistan in order to promote investment cooperation.
All aforementioned MoU's have been greenlighted by the Cabinet.
